** Fake Bids **
Like a lot of ska / reggae sellers on eBay, we are occasionally targeted by fake bidders who derive some kind of pleasure from disrupting auctions. Please be assured that we will not allow these sad individuals to spoil our auctions. Whenever possible, we monitor the countdown of each auction, and any fake bids are cancelled immediately. When fake bids are made within the last few seconds, and bid cancellation is not possible, they are disregarded. The 'true' winner is invoiced for the correct amount - i.e. the figure where they outbid the second highest legitimate bid. Thus you never pay prices inflated by fake bidders. We do ask that you honour your bids, even in those auctions that are affected by fake bids, and that you pay promptly.
THE MINSTRELS - People Get Ready / THE HAMLINS - Everyone Got To Be There (Studio One SO2036) - 7" - 1967Nicely presented original pressing of this ultra-rare and highly sought-after Coxsone Dodd-produced UK Studio One 7" featuring The Minstrels' awesome rocksteady rendition of the Curtis Mayfield classic People Get Ready backed by The Hamlins' Everyone Got To Be There. The vinyl retains a decent / good sheen with light and some lightish surface marks, plenty of small, very fine hairlines and a few mainly light scratches - nothing serious - see the descriptions below and check-out the soundclip. Please Note - the centre has been removed on this copy.
A-side: There is a very small improving to tiny amount of background surface noise with some tiny and occasional very small pops and clicks plus just a couple of slightly more prominent ones. Grade - VG+ improving to EX-/EX
B-side: There is a small improving to tiny amount of background surface noise with tiny, very small and occasional small pops and clicks plus a few prominent ones midway through the track. Grade - VG- up to VG+/EX-
Labels: On the A-side label there are the remnants of a 2cm x 2cm sticker and a set of initials written in blue biro (see scan), while the B-side label is clean and tidy.

We do offer a reduction in postal charges for multiple purchases. We always obtain a Certificate of Posting for items sent, but items do occasionally get lost or damaged in the post. Due to a reduction in the amount of compensation that Royal Mail will pay-out for lost or damaged items sent by standard 1st class delivery, from £46 to just £20, we will send any item that sells for more than £20 by tracked or registered mail.
