Description
A great copy of this ultra rare Mono album. Columbia blue/black label, SX 6157 Matrix XAX 3420 -1/X AX3419 -2, KT tax stamp (only the earlier copies had the KT stamp). In 1967 this mono version was only issued in small quantities just before the stereo version was brought out and is getting harder to find. This copy is a 1st press without "file under popular...." few were issued without this. The vinyl is very shiny with a few very fine, almost barely there spindle marks. The record does have a few minor surface scuff marks, but again barely noticible. There is some hissing and crackling present but no skips or jumps. The flip back laminate front sleeve has a few minor creases at the opening edge but otherwise is very crisp and shiny having lost none of its vibrancy. The Pink Floyd can be clearly seen on the spine (no splits or damage). The back is also in VG++ condition, no creasing or writing, a little bit grubby around the flip back edges that's all. SX 6157 can be seen in the top right hand corner with Also available on Stereo No. SCX6157 written underneath. 6709 TPS Printed and made by Ernest J Day & Co Ltd., London SX 6157/SCX6157 on bottom right hand corner. All in all a very fine copy.
