Description
A Masterpiece of Modern Horror....THE SHINING Original Sound Track on WARNER BROTHERS RECORDS HS 3449...Original Pressing from 1980. This is not a later re-pressing or import.
Condition of Cover is a strong VG+ with very, very slight signs of ring wear on front and back side (see pictures). The corners are sharp and have very slight wear...and NO creases or major bends. NO SEAM SPLITS, NO WRITING, NO PROMO CUT OUTS OR HOLES...a very presentable cover. Only draw back from near mint is the indentation mark on front cover that is only visible at certain angles. It is very hard to see it...but I always mention any issues on my listing. Spine reads the following clearly:
"HS 3449 The Shining Original Sound Track 1980 Warner Bros. Records Inc. Printed in USA"
Condition of Vinyl is a MINT MINUS. Super Shine and Gloss on this copy. I've play graded the entire...Creepy...record and it sounds AWESOME, LOUD, and CLEAR. No scratches or major marks...No skips or jumps...very quite between songs. Slight and Gentle whisper marks from pulling in and out a plastic Warner Brothers Stock Sleeve.
Tracks are as follows:
Side One - Main Title "The Shining" (Wendy Carlos & Rachel Elkind) , Rocky Mountains (Wendy Carlos & Rachel Elkind), Lontano (Gyorgy Ligeti), Music For Strings, Percussion and Celesta (Bela Bartok)
Side Two - Utrenja (Krysztof Penderecki), The Awakening of Jacob (Krysztof Penderecki), De Natura Sonoris No. 2 (Krzysztof Penderecki), Home (Henry Hall and the Gleneagles Hotel Band)
This original USA pressing has no reserve.
