Description

An original Mono 1st Press of Oldies on the UK Parlophone label. Matrix 1G/1G. Please note label design is totally consistent with 1st press - all the publishing dates are positioned on the left-side. The heavy set vinyl comes housed in an original mono Garrod & Lofthouse cover. Also included is the original Emi advertising inner. So, 100% genuine and 100% complete.
Vinyl (Ex-) In very nice condition and has only seen relatively light use. Under close inspection there are couple of light marks - nothing remotely troublesome. A thorough testing from beginning to end reveals a mostly NEAR EXCELLENT level of playback. Intros and inbetweens are nice and quiet and the audio comes across with great clarity. Interference is both minor and infrequent. We didn't detect more than a bit of light static in a couple of isolated moments [e.g. Michelle as is common]. An impressive little player and the very 1st press to boot. 
Cover (Ex-) Nice shiny front with only a couple of slight creases showing. The rear seems to have avoided the usual fading which often afflicts the rear. Edge wear is reasonably light and the text on the spine is still all still legible. Overall the cover still retains excellent rigidity.
Inner (Vg+) Slight ageing and one 1 inch side split.
