Description

A genuine 1st issue of BFS from winter 1964 - from whilst charting. Matrix 3/4. Please note 'Parlophone' text still present and 'recording 1st pub' still exhibiting. Well worth insisting on the early copies - they are near-master and pressed heavy!! The heavy-set vinyl comes housed in an original mono gatefold cover. AWESOME condition. Let me tell you - an original copy like this hellishly difficult to find. With original Emitex inner sleeve is 100% genuine and 100% complete.
Vinyl (Ex) A truly super original in very very nice condition. Excellent lustre.  A coupe of slight marks per side - nothing remotely troublesome. Plays a straight forward EXCELLENT. Intros and inbetweens are lovely and quiet and the audio comes across with excellent clarity. Hardly any background...maybe a couple of light crackles here and there in one of the super fussy numbers [Sun & Moonlight], but these tracks are playing WAY cleaner than you typically find. This copy really is acing in all areas. Rarely do you get to spin a copy this well preserved. Plays clean into al those fussy lowkey numbers. A couple of isolated minor ticks per side. Very rarely have I witnessed such a good rendition of BFS.  It comes highly recommended!
Cover (Ex) In very very smart condition with a nice flat unfaded front. BFS is an absolute PAIIIIIN to find in this kinda condition. the front panel is usually contorted - no such issues here - really well preserved. The rear is looking really nice looking having avoided most of the usual ageing process. Flipbacks and interior all in excellent order. Minimal edge wear and spine 9o% intact. Overall the cover retains excellent rigidity.
Emitex (Ex-) Slight ageing. But no splits.
