Description

An original 1st press of BFS on the UK Parlophone label. Matrix 3N/3N - very 1st cut. The heavy-set vinyl comes housed in an original gatefold cover. Also included is the original Emitex inner sleeve. So, 100% genuine and 100%  complete.
Vinyl (Ex/Ex-) In very nice condition and has only seen a light to moderate level of use. Under close inspection there are a few light marks either side - nothing troublesome though. A thorough testing from beginning to end reveals a mostly EXCELLENT level of playback. Intros and inbetweens are nice and quiet and the audio comes across with great clarity. By and large a very nice clean player. However, do expect just a touch of static in a couple of spots per side. But even this is very minor and fleeting. Overall an impressive rendition from this early 1st pressing.
Cover (Ex) These BFS covers are a real pain to find great condition -- but this example is certainly a cut above what usually surfaces. A lovely clean shiny front without the usual heavy creasing - just one in the top left corner and a couple of tiny thumbnails. Worth noting that the colours on that front are lovely and bold and the opening flap still has rigidity....it hasn't been pulverised like many other examples! Same kind of standard on the rear - barely a crease! The interior looks great - no issues at all. Edge wear is very light for this title and the opening edge is actually still reasonably sharp. The spine is almost totally intact which is very unusual for this title - and the text pretty much all legible. Overall the cover still retains excellent rigidity. A very fine early example!
