Perhaps, this is one of the last surviving factory sealed Stereo Version 2 copies of The Beatles “Introducing… the Beatles”. While Version 1 of this album released on January 10, 1964, had the “P.S. I Love You” and “Love Me Do” tracks, Version 2 released one month later on February 10 had the tracks replaced with “Please Please Me” and “Ask Me Why” and didn’t have the small vertical “Printed in U.S.A” text in the bottom left corner of the front cover which was present on the cover of Version 1. A red background “Printed in U.S.A.” Vee-Jay Records inner sleeve is visible through the fully intact shrink wrap at the cover’s mouth of this copy. This “Greatest Gospel Sound On Record Is On Vee-Jay Records” inner sleeve with other VJ releases was shipped by the printing company to Vee-Jay Records on October 22, 1964. Therefore, it could be stated that this copy was pressed no earlier than this date, most likely in the late 1964. The shrink wrap is fully intact and doesn't have any splits, tears or missing pieces, with just some very light age shelf wear. Two breathe holes are located on the front cover as well as the back. Without any doubts, this beautiful Mint copy is the final upgrade of the Stereo Version 2 issue.
