Description

For sale is a superb condition and incredibly early 1st U.K. mono copy of The Beatles debut album - Please Please Me. Catalogue number PMC 1202 on the Parlophone label.

With the stampers of 1A and 1M it was probably one of the first 1500 to be pressed.

The whole package is original, authentic and in super condition.

Original first issue ‘Gold’ sleeve, with front photo credit starting at the end of the second s in songs, is in excellent condition- one of the best I have seen. Just light discolouration to the rear as only issue.

Original Use Emitex inner sleeve in excellent condition.

Record labels, with first issue Dick James credits in excellent condition. MZT tax code.

Record visually VG+ both sides with just 2 or 3 light hairlines each side.

Sonically both sides play between VG+ and excellent. Just occasional light crackles in some quiet passages and one minor static pop in track 3 side 1. Otherwise superb, with no clicks sticks skips or jumps. A great listening experience of this iconic album.

Record sits totally flat on turntable.

It is likely that a deep professional clean would improve sound even more.

Please note I will not send or sell to Russian Federation as long as the evil dictator Putin is in power l
