The Beatles With The Beatles LP 2nd Issue Mono 1964 Original Ex/Ex+... BARGAIN

Description

An original 2nd issue of  WTB on the UK Parlophone label from 1964. Matrix 7N/7N. Please note whilst the matrix numbers have moved on considerably from 1N this pressing is still, technically, reasonably early coming from the 1st half of 1964. Toward the end of '64 they started using the 'Sold In The UK..' statement which this LP clearly does not exhibit. The heavy set vinyl comes housed in an original Garrod & Lofthouse cover with the flipbacks exposed.
Vinyl (Ex+) In fantastic condition and has only seen very light use. Under close inspection we could only make out a couple of light marks either side - nothing remotely troublesome. A thorough testing from beginning to end reveals an EXCELLENT+ level of playback. Intros and inbetweens are silent and the audio comes across with perfect clarity. Pretty amazing when you think about it... a '64 record and it sounds like it was made yesterday. All the quiet sections play clean as you could possibly hope for. Interference - pretty much nothing that I could make out. Maybe a couple of crackles in a couple of isolated moments [that's our catch-all minimum]. I'm struggling to remember one! FINAL UPGRADE.
Cover (Ex/Ex+) In lovely condition and someone's clearly looked after it cover very very carefully. Any cover that survives from '64 looking as nice as this one does deserves a medal! Lovely shiny unaged front with one thumbnail. The rear looks very impressive with barely any sign of ageing...only very lightest if any at all. All flipbacks are secure and undamaged. Edge wear is very light and the spine is 100% intact. Overall the cover retains excellent rigidity. You really would have to go some to better this original example.
