Description
The Blazers-On Fire-Perfection Sound Studios-60s Garage Vinyl LP-Crude Georgia Garage! If the Tempos and Skip & The Creations LPs are a TEN, then the Blazers LP would be rated a good 7 or 8 on a scale from 1 to 10. This would be based on the two originals, "On Fire" and "Walk Out And Leave Ya", if released on a 45, would be a killer garage 45 by any standards. There are other great tunes, like "I Had It Made" and the garage organ instrumental of "Theme From A Summer Place" that you could imagine the teens on the back cover slow dancing to at the end of the night. This LP is RARE and NEVER turns up as it was pressed in limited quantity by the all powerful Perfection Sound Studios from Smyrna, Georgia. Condition is as follows: Cover is strong VG with usual ring-wear, corner wear, tape residue on bottom left corner, seam wear on bottom but NO SPLIT SEAMS! Recordis strong G+, with many scuffs, plays all the way through without skips but has surface noise which adds to the charm of the LP. Side two, first track "Mustang Sally" has a scratch but plays through with some "ticks" not bad. Overall good sound as it was recorded and pressed well.
