Description

An original pressing of Aftermath on the UK Decca label from 1967. 1B/5A. Stampers 1-KC/1-UB. The heavy set vinyl comes housed in an original cover printed by Robert Stace. Also included is the original Decca inner sleeve. So, 100% genuine and 100% complete.
Vinyl (Vg+) In very nice condition and has only seen light use. Under close inspection there are a couple of light marks either side - nothing remotely troublesome. A thorough testing from beginning to end reveals an, at least, VERYGOOD+ level of playback. Intros and inbetweens are quiet and the audio comes across with good clarity. Interference is minor in nature. All we detected was some light static in a few places e.g. intro to side 2.Other than that it is very decent rendition and has not been abused down the years.
Cover (Ex-) In lovely condition and has clearly been looked after down the years. Lovely shiny front which is largely free from laminate lift and ageing. The rear has escaped the worst ravages of ageing that so often afflict these covers. The spine is entirely intact and edge wear is light. Overall the cover retains excellent rigidity and remains a fine example.
Inner (Ex) Very little ageing and no splits.
