Description
A 1st press of Sticky Fingers on Rolling Stone Records. Matrix A3/B4. Etching 'Rolling Stone Records'. Please note there's no mention of 'Promotone' on the labels - this is indicative of 1st press. The vinyl comes housed in an original Richard Davis printed cover with zip gimmick and pinched spine. And, yes, the zip is working, but it is exhibiting some verdigris so be careful with it! Also included is the original inner sleeve and the original insert. So, 100% complete and 100% genuine.
Vinyl (Vg) Has seen a moderate level of use, but still remains in decent playable condition. There are a number of marks, but they tend to be light rather than the feelable sort. A thorough testing from beginning to end reveals a VERYGOOD level of playback. Do expect some crackle in many of the tracks. It's not really what I'd call invasive, but certainly audible. Please only consider the purchase if you can deal with that from an audio perspective. This LP still represents a very enjoyable listen, but will not suit a hifi guru.
Cover (Vg+) In lovely condition and preserved better than many examples that surface. Nice and clean front and back with only the lightest of ageing at the extremities and one tiny sticker removal mark top-left. No bits torn off or hanging off - it's all there and intact. Edge wear is very light and all the text on the spine is legible which is unusual. Overall the cover retains great rigidity and remains an impressive example.
Insert (Vg+) No issues. Touch of ageing in places.
Inner Sleeve (Vg+) Light ageing. No splits.
Any purchase is guaranteed to get to you quickly, safely, and with total satisfaction, or your money back.
