Description
WYNONA CARR--SET OF 5 JUKE BOX EPs from the Reprise album WILD WONDERFUL WYNONA (R6023) from 1961,arranged and conducted by Neal Hefti. This package of 33rpm 7" singles were used to promote the album at the juke boxes, and includes the original envelope--labeled "Stereo 33 1/3 7 Inch / Wynona Carr / from reprise album / Wild Wonderful Wynona"--plus the five singles, a set of labels to go in the juke box, and two full-color reproductions of the album cover, both with a small white circular scuff on her face. The individual singles include "Willow Weep for Me" b/w "Love Love Love," Oh, How I Love You" b/w "Strange," "So Long" b/w "Bring Back the Blues," "That Lucky Old Sun" b/w "I Wanna be Around" and "I Gotta Stand Tall" b/w "Don't Come Crying to Me." The condition of the envelope is fair, with most of the wear around the flap. Inside, the singles have been kept in fine condition--there may be a little surface noise, but the discs themselves have no scratches or scuffs. A rare vintage record collector's treat from a great gospel-turned-jazz singer--copies of the original album go for $60 and up!
