White Stripes Elephant

description Details   180g 2LP vinyl in gatefold cover, 2021 reissue!

"It's a monster that the White Stripes created ... Forward and don't forget Rolling Stone
When the guardians of high culture suddenly pondered the phenomenon of "The" bands in the fall of 2002, the band from Detroit that had started this trend was in the studio to record their fourth album "Elephant". A year later, this album, which was recorded within 10 days in the small Toe Rag studio in London, established Jack and Meg White worldwide. In England and the USA the brother-sister duo (?) Has already been awarded platinum and nominated for four Grammies, in Germany the album settled in the charts for 6 long months. The sound is anything but "Superstar" compatible, but raw and simply honest. More than three chords, but only two instruments. Even if the 2003 Spex single "Seven Nation Army" may mislead some, a bass cannot be heard here either.

With the song that conquered the world, "Seven Nation Army", now a world-famous stadium song for soccer and football fans.
Dun dun dun dun dun duuun dun ...

Cut from the original 1/4 "master tapes and pressed onto two gorgeous 180-gram LPs, this record is ready to take a prominent place in your home or museum.

about us

Our founding year 1998 - long after vinyl was declared dead and long before vinyl was hailed as a cool thing again - proves that we are real vinyl nerds. We only started out as a small record dealer from home. Later we opened our first real record store and of course our own online shop. Everything with passion and always with the motto: SAVE THE VINYL. What is not available online can be found in our store in Übersee, Frühlingsweg 22. Overseas? Yes. Übersee Am Chiemsee. Directly on the A8 motorway, between Munich and Salzburg. Here you will also find a fine range of second-hand vinyl.
We also have a large selection of equipment from many manufacturers. Simply everything you need for vinyl ...
