On offer here is a VERY rare LP (especially in this condition!!!!) by The Beatles called 'Sgt Peppers Lonely Hearts Club Band' and is an ORIGINAL 1967 MONO UK 1st Pressing on the 1st Press Yellow & Black Parlophone label!!!!  THIS LP IS SERIOUSLY RARE AND VIRTUALLY IMPOSSIBLE TO FIND!!!!  THIS IS ONE OF THE BEATLES RAREST & MOST SOUGHT AFTER LPs EVER - AND VIRTUALLY NEVER TURNS UP FOR SALE!!!!  BUT WHAT MAKES THIS LP REALLY SPECIAL IS THAT IT IS ONE OF THE 'EARLIEST' 1ST PRESSINGS EVER MADE - WITH AN ULTRA RARE 'WIDE SPINE' COVER!!!!  AND THIS IS ALMOST IMPOSSIBLE TO FIND ON THIS LP!!!!  ONLY THE VERY 'EARLIEST' 1ST PRESSINGS EVER HAD 'WIDE SPINE' COVERS AND THEY ARE INCREDIBLY DIFFICULT TO FIND!!!!  THIS 'WIDE SPINE' COVER WAS CHANGED IMMEDIATELY AFTER RELEASE, DUE TO A 'STACKING' PROBLEM AT THE FACTORY - AS THEY WOULD NOT LIE 'FLAT' ON STACKING!!!!  SO THE 'WIDE SPINE' COVER WAS DROPPED AND IMMEDIATELY REPLACED WITH THE VERY COMMON 'FLAT' NARROW SPINE COVER - WHICH MOST LATER 'STANDARD' 1ST PRESSINGS HAD!!!!  BUT THIS ONE IS ONE OF THOSE 'EARLIEST' 1ST PRESSINGS EVER MADE - WITH AN ULTRA RARE 'WIDE SPINE' COVER - AND IS INCREDIBLY TOUGH TO LOCATE!!!!

The matrix numbers are XEX 637-1 & XEX 638-1.  The Cat. No is PMC 7027 on the ORIGINAL 1st Press Yellow & Black Parlophone label (see picture) and is a MONO 1st pressing!!!! All the tracks are Pure quality Beatles at their best!!!! Any fan of The Beatles, or 60s music in general, will want to have this in their collection!!!!

The record labels are in SUPERB condition (see pictures) with NO wear, NO writing, and only a few light spindle marks!!!!  The vinyl is in BRILLIANT condition!!!!  Most of these 60s LPs had been to a lot of wild parties and are usually found totally worn out, and almost unplayable. This one is NOT and has NO scratches, only 2 or 3 MEGA light hairlines, NO scufflines, only 2 or 3 ULTRA light TINY surface traces, and only a VERY few of the lightest paper scuffs only visible under light!!!!  ITS AS SIMPLE AS THAT!!!!  THE RECORD STILL RETAINS ITS ORIGINAL 'JUST PRESSED' LOOK AND SHINES LIKE NEW!!!!  It is also great to find that the playing of the record is almost as STUNNING as the visual!!!!  It plays with NO pops, NO sticking, NO jumps, barely ANY crackle AT ALL, and only some EXTREMELY low level background sound on the run on grooves & gaps - NOT in the music AT ALL!!!!  The sound quality is simply SUPERB with NO distortion and NO groovewear either!!!!  The record must grade Very Good++++ if not better!!!!  BRILLIANT RECORD!!!!  Believe me this record is NOT overgraded in ANY way!!!! I use STRICT RC grading standards - it is not in my interest not to!!!! Brillant!!!!  The record also comes in its ORIGINAL 1st Press 'Patents Applied For' Red/White inner sleeve which is in SUPERB condition!!!!  The ORIGINAL 1st Press 'Darker Green' Insert is in absolutely SUPERB condition and has clearly NEVER left the cover!!!!  The ULTRA RARE 'Earliest' 1st Press 'Garrod & Lofthouse' WIDE SPINE Gatefold Flipback FULLY Laminated MONO Cover is in absolutely BRILLIANT condition!!!!  The cover has NO edge wear, NO spinal wear (VERY nice vertical 'Wide Spine'!), only VERY slight corner wear (NOT through the colour!), only a few VERY light creases (cover is VERY flat looking indeed!), VERY shiny laminate, and NO writing (apart from a possible ULTRA faint TINY trace in one corner - though this has NO impression AT ALL, and it is so absolutely faint as to be unreadable!)!!!!  The opening edges are beautifully straight with NO feathering!!!!  Even the laminated inside of the cover is in SUPERB condition wh NO grubbyness, NO yellowing, STUNNING flipbacks, PERFECT 'mirror-like' laminate, and NO writing!!!!  The cover must MEGA STRICTLY grade Very Good++++ if not better and really is a BRILLIANT example!!!!  THIS LP IS SERIOUSLY RARE AND VIRTUALLY IMPOSSIBLE TO FIND LIKE THIS - SO DONT MISS OUT ON THIS INCREDIBLE OPPORTUNITY!!!!
