Description

An original 1st press of Low on the RCA label from 1977. Matrix A1/B2. Etching 'Sterling'. The vinyl comes housed in an original cover printed by Garrodprint Ltd. The original lyric insert is also present as is the 1977 RCA inner sleeve. So, 100% genuine an 100% complete.
Vinyl (Ex/Ex+) In superb condition and has only seen very light use. Under close inspection we could only make out a couple of very light marks per side - nothing remotely troublesome. A thorough testing from beginning to end reveals a mostly EXCELLENT+ level of playback. Intros and inbetweens are very nice and quiet and the audio comes across with perfect clarity. I tend to find that side 1 always plays fairly well come what may. It's really the side 2 compositions that sort out the average copy from a very well preserved copy. Even the test track 'Warsaw'...plays very nice and clean. 'Art Decade' is good too..It's not perfect... there's still a couple of crackles in a couple of spots, but this is about as clean as it's possible to achieve without taking one straight out of the 1977 wrapper! Definitely one of the best copies I've auditioned.
Cover (Ex/Ex+) A beautifully preserved cover and it is difficult finding them looking quite this sweet. Lovely clean front without the usual creasing or surface wear. In fact, I'd go as far as saying the front looks new because the surface is totally flat, there is no discolouration at all..it has the appearance of a new LP. The rear looks great too with only super-light handling. The sticker is in lovely condition too - totally intact with no curling. Edge wear is very light for this title and the openings are still sharp. The spine is 100% intact. Overall the cover still retains excellent rigidity. A lovely specimen...FINAL UPGRADE.
Insert (Ex) Very nice condition. No issues at all.
Inner (Vg+) Very nice condition. One side split has been taped up.
