Description

An original very 1st press of HOTH on the UK Atlantic label. Matrix A2/B2 - very 1st cut. Stamped 'RL Sterling'. Please note the labels are absolutely consistent with 1st press. All perimeter text stays within the southern sector - and there's no sign of the WB logo. Note that these early copies are very nice and heavy pressed unlike copies a matter of months later. The vinyl comes housed in an original matt gatefold with the original textured inner sleeve. So, 100% genuine and 100% complete.
Vinyl (Ex/Ex-) In lovely condition and has only seen light use. Under close inspection there are a couple of light marks per side, and one very superficial trail - absolutely nothing troublesome that would enter the audio spectrum. A thorough testing from beginning to end reveals a mostly EXCELLENT level of playback with one slight deviation. There's some great audio rolling off of this copy..Intros and inbetweens are very nice and quiet and the audio comes across with superb clarity.  "Rain" plays much cleaner than you typically find. And 'No QTR' is better than average with just a touch of light static momentarily and the odd crackle. Overall a very sweet playing copy.
Cover (Ex) In beautiful condition and certainly steered clear of the usual surface wear you tend to find. The front is clean and flat with very little signs of wear at all. The rear looks good too with only super light signs of handling. The interior is immaculate - no issues at all. Edge wear is quite minor for this title. The spine is in excellent order and overall the cover retains tremendous rigidity.
Inner (Ex-) Only very lightest ageing apparent. No splits or marking.
