Description




An original 1971 copy of Zep II on UK Atlantic Red & Plum. Matrix A5/B4. The heavy set vinyl comes housed in an original dark-brown [correct for this period] E J Day printed cover. Also included is the original plastic bag warning inner sleeve. So, 100% genuine and 100% complete.
Vinyl (Ex-) In very nice condition and has only seen light to moderate use. Under close inspection there are a good few light marks either side - nothing heavy or likely to cause significant issue. A thorough testing from beginning to end reveals a NEAREXCELLENT level of playback with one deviation. Intros and inbetweens are mostly nice and quiet and the audio comes across with great clarity. We picked up a bit of audible background as side 1 starts up and then only a few sporadic crackles in a few isolated moments. The only deviation is in the closing seconds of 'Ramble' where there's a few pops as the audio starts to fade out. By and large an impressive rendition with, in reality, not all that much to find fault with.
Cover (Vg+) In great shape and has clearly been looked after. Nice clean front and rear without the usual heavy wear that you often find with this title. One thing to mention, that is not immediately obvious from the pics, is that there are a few undulations within the cover [reasonably minor]. So do not expect a flat looking rear. The interior looks great - no issues. There's some edge wear in places, but nothing too bad. The spine is exhibiting some edge wear - but most of the text is still more or less legible. Overall the cover still retains excellent rigidity.
Inner (Ex-) lightest ageing. No marks or splits.
