MARTHA VELEZ - Fiends And Angels LP (German London/Decca Royal Sound SHA-U 119, 1969)
This is mega rare 1969 German 1st Press of fantastic blues-psych-jazz-rock session where US female singer was backed by the stellar line up of UK blues-jazz-rock musicians, inc. Eric Clapton, Jack Bruce, Brian Auger, Paul Kossoff, Chris Wood, Mitch Mitchell, Johnny Almond, Rick Hayward, Chris Mercer, the whole Chicken Shack and most of the Keef Hartley Band.
This is the 1st Pressing in TOP CONDITION! A year later this material was REISSUED in UK and Holland by Blue Horizon (with different cover) as Fiends And Angels AGAIN (with whole line-up printed on back - in opposite to the original pressing). Please note, that London version came 1 year earlier! Even the great Galactic Ramble book is wrong and... review the same record twice...
Cover: MINT- Fully laminated cover is in perfect condition - with NO craeses, NO wrinkles; NO edgewears; NO writings; NO hidden flaws!
Record: MINT Played just once or twice - with NO sign of use! NO hairlines at all! Both labels are in immaculate shape. TOP COPY!!!
