Description

An original 1st press of Meddle on the UK Harvest label. Matrix 1U/1U - absolute 1st cut. Stampers 1-GP/1-AM. Please note the labels still exhibit "Gramophone" in the perimeter text - per 1st issue. The heavy-set vinyl comes housed in an original textured [inside and out] Garrod & Lofthouse cover. There is No original Harvest inner present.
Vinyl (Ex-/Vg+) In great shape and has only seen relatively light use. Under close inspection we could only make out a few light marks either side - nothing troublesome. A thorough testing from beginning to end reveals a mostly NEAREXCELLENT level of playback. Beautifully rendered audio and reasonably clean. It's not clean enough to quite make the full Ex. Expect the odd touch of light static here and there. Still a very nice rendition which should more than suffice for most folk. If you are the sort of listener that needs perfect silence you need to be looking in the Ex to Ex+ range..particularly with Floyd.
Cover (Vg+) Nice and clean front and rear with only light handling evident. The interior looks great too - no issues from what I can make out. The only thing letting the side down is a bit of edge wear. Now, mostly it's pretty light. It's just on the spine where there's a lot more evident. Nothing that's worn-through...but don't expect to make out any of the text. Overall the cover still retains very good rigidity.
