Description

An original 1st issue of Meddle on UK Harvest. Matrix A3/B1U. Stampers 2-GR/1-GAA. "Gramophone" in the perimeter label text - indicative of 1st issue. Worth noting the vinyl is satisfyingly heavy - not all copies were pressed at this weight. The vinyl comes housed in an original FULLY textured cover [inside and out]. We also have the original Harvest advertising inner. So, 100% genuine and 100% complete.
Vinyl (Ex/Ex+) In marvellous condition and has clearly only seen light use. A couple of very slight marks per side - nothing noticeable or heavy looking. A thorough testing from beginning to end reveals a mostly EXCELLENT+ level of playback with two deviations. Intros and inbetweens are beautifully quiet and the audio comes across with superb clarity. This is incredibly difficult to find with a lot of the Floyd Lps. But every now and again you find a copy which has only seen very slight use and someone's taken great care it. It is playing really clean consistently - even into the super fussiest lowkey passages. All I could detect were a couple of minor ticks early in 'Echoes', and a couple more very low-level ones a short while later. Absolutely no big deal. Highly recommended. Highly addictive.
Cover (Ex-) In lovely condition, and again, it's not every day one appears looking this tidy. Front and rear are really nice and flat with just the very slight signs of handling signs. The interior is looking superb - so so many copies will tan a little or a lot. This example has escaped the ageing process - remarkable. Edge wear is very slight for this title. The openings are still sharpish and nice and firm. A bit of lightest wear on the spine - which is very difficult to avoid. But all text still legible - and it is looking way better than the usual standard that surfaces. Overall the cover retains excellent rigidity. A really super copy.
Inner (Vg+) Light ageing. Bag present. No splits.
