Description

An original 1st press of Meddle on the UK Harvest label. Matrix A1U/B1U - very 1st cut. Stampers 1-MM/2-A. Please note the labels are still mentioning "Gramophone" in the perimeter text - which is indicative of 1st issue. The heavy-set vinyl comes housed in an original gatefold cover which is textured on the outside AND the interior too. Also included is the original Harvest advertising inner sleeve. So 100% complete and 100% genuine.
Vinyl (Ex/Ex+) In superb condition and has only seen the very light use. Under close inspection I could only make out a couple of light marks either side - nothing remotely troublesome. A thorough testing from beginning to end reveals a mostly EXCELLENT+ level of playback. A very nice clean rendition with precious little to complain at. The audio delivered from these 1st pressings really does have the wow factor! Interference is very limited indeed. All I could detect were a couple of crackles in a couple of isolated moments per side [e.g. opening submarine pips - as is very common]. A quality rendition of this Floyd classic.
Cover (Vg+) In great shape and has clearly been looked after down the years. Both front and back are clean and flat with little sign of creasing or handling wear. The interior looks very nice with just a couple of age related marks. Edge wear is relatively light for this title and there's just a bit on the spine - rendering 'Pink' illegible. 
Inner (Vg+) No splits, but a bit aged.
