Description

An original 1st issue of Meddle on UK Harvest. Matrix A3/B4. Stampers 2-OO/2-OM. "Gramophone" in the perimeter label text. The vinyl comes housed in an original fully textured [inside and out] cover. The left panel is sealed shut forming a solid opening panel. There's also an original generic white inner from the time too. So, 100% genuine and 100% complete.
Vinyl (Ex/Ex+) A superbly preserved original copy which has only seen light use. A couple of very slightest marks per side - but nothing remotely troublesome. A thorough testing from beginning to end reveals an, at least, EXCELLENT level of playback. Intros and inbetweens are beautifully quiet and the audio comes across with perfect clarity. Just the sort of copy you want if you're looking for an unbeatable rendition with a perfectly clear background. This is incredibly difficult to find with a lot of the Floyd Lps, but occasionally one surfaces where someone's really taken tremendous care with it. All quiet sectors play very quiet. A few crackles in one isolated spot - an extremely good strike rate I'd argue.
Cover (Vg+) I've graded down because there are two blemishes in the interior in the upper corners. But if you were to take a close look at this copy - beyond said blemishes and you will see an unusually well kept cover. Front and rear are really nice and flat with pretty much no signs of wear to the surfaces. There's no creasing either. The interior looks superb with just lightest ageing as is difficult to avoid. What is particularly unusual on this copy is that there's very little edge wear at all. The openings are still sharp and nice and firm. The spine is 100% intact - which is incredibly unusual on this title. Overall the cover retains excellent rigidity. If you can get past the two blemishes - this really is a superbly preserved cover.
