Rare 14-inch RCA Victor Company "Spot Broadcast" Transcription. . . Yes, a 14-inch transcription . . recorded late 1932 Program R-111-3 (same as matrix number) Program begins with Nipper barking - yip-yip-yip. . . then announcer states "His Master's Voice Of The Air" program. . . Selections on this program were specially recorded for this broadcast transcription. - Nat Shilkret directs Victor Orchestra in a few selections, with announcer introducing titles and orchestra. Program lasts approximately 13 minutes and includes RCA Victor radio advertising. . . apparently sponsored by a local RCA Victor dealer. Selections include: Nat Shilkret Orchestra with Joe Green (composer and xylophone) playing "Dance Of The Toy Regiment" . . . . . then announcer states that seeing Maurice Chevalier's new picture will remember "Isn't It Romantic" played by the RCA Victor Orchestra with vocal refrains by Mary McCoy and Robert Simmons ( nice version ! ) . . . . . announcer then introduces a Stephen Foster medley by the RCA Victor Concert Orchestra, with vocals by Conrad Thibault and Robert Simmons. . . At end of broadcast, announcer states "His Master's Voice Of The Air" will return next week at this same hour. ** Label states this "record must be destroyed after program. . have been performed. ." THIS PAPER SHEET IS NOT INCLUDED WITH THE TRANSCRIPTION. . . I merely added the photo to illustrate the original playing instructions for such transcriptions. . (the paper came with a similar Victrolac broadcast pressing, and will be included with that record when it is eventually offered on eBay) Condition is Excellent. . .
