Description

An original 1969 Decca Unboxed 1st press. Matrix 3W/3W. The audio is dreamy, rich with excellent depth and resolution...take a close looky here>>>  The heavy-set vinyl comes housed in an original stereo 1st issue cover. Don't get caught out here....people switch the covers....You need to make sure you are dealing with a proper 1st. MUST have peep-hole on rear and printed by Upton. Quite apart from being a correct 1st cover - they are very high quality. And, in fact, very hard to find in great condition. This is one of the best examples I've seen. Original unredacted inner sleeve too.
Vinyl (Ex/Ex-) In lovely condition and has only seen light use. As even the uber fussy 'Love in Vain' plays pretty much perfect. Under close inspection I could only make out a couple of slight marks per side  - nothing remotely troublesome. A thorough testing from beginning to end reveals an EXCELLENT level of playback. A great copy throughout - most original examples do not play at this level. It is playing clean even into the fiddle and acoustic sectors....Slight presence in one brief spot per dide...i.e. precious little.  VERY addictive and needs ti be in someones collection.
Cover (Ex/Ex-) Tricky, very tricky... to find in perfect condition, but this example is getting pretty dang close. The rears nearly always tarnish. I have not handled one this clean...it is extremley fine looking. The ageing process and wear on the main surfaces... ABSENT. Spine is 99% intact.. Overall the cover retains excellent rigidity. A lovely specimen by any standard.
Inner (Ex-) Lightest ageing.  No splits.
