Description

An original 1st press of Who's Next on the UK Track label from 1971. Matrix 1/2. Etching 'MG12888'. Please note labels are matt and flat, NOT shiny and ridged - as per 1st issue. The heavy set vinyl comes housed in an original 'Marketed by Polydor' MacNeill cover with pinched spine. Also included is the original 'plastic bag warning' inner sleeve. So, 100% complete and 100% genuine.
Vinyl (Ex+) In superb condition and has only seen light use. Under close inspection we can barely make out a single mark. A thorough testing from beginning to end reveals an EXCELLENT+ level of playback. Intros and inbetweens are practically silent and the audio comes across with perfect clarity. Interference is pretty much non-existent. All we could detect were a few crackles in a couple of isolated moments. It's a blindingly good rendition and one that would be hard to equal, let alone better.
Cover (Ex-) In great shape and has clearly been cared for down the years. Nice clean front with just a couple of slight creases. The rear is in nice shape too with only some very light handling wear - far less than you usually find. There's a bit of edge wear in places, but overall it's quite minor for this title and the openings are still sharpish. The text on the spine is all still legible - but there is a bit of wear here and there. Overall the cover retains excellent rigidity.
Inner (Vg+) A couple of side splits have been taped up.
