Description

An original 1st issue on the UK Decca label from late 1970. Matrix 1W/4W. Worth insisting on an early copy of this famous live LP as pressing quality deteriorated somewhat on later copies. The early copies are pressed heavier and they were housed in a fully laminated cover [back and front]. Also included, here, is the original blue and white Decca inner sleeve from 1970. So, 100% genuine and 100% complete.
Vinyl (Ex-) In lovely condition and has only seen relatively light use. Under close inspection I can only make out a couple of light marks per side - nothing heavy or troublesome though. A thorough testing from beginning to end reveals a mostly NEAREXCELLENT level of playback. Intros and inbetweens are nice and quiet and the audio comes across with great clarity. Not quite clean enough to hit the top grades, but a decent level that should be more than sufficient for most folks. Expect a touch of light static in a couple of spots per side [e.g. the fussy track -> Love In Vain]. Overall a very enjoyable rendition of this Stones classic...
Cover (Vg+) In very nice condition with some creasing at the opening edge, and a tiny 5mm tear at the opening [toward the bottom. The rear is looking good too with just a touch of light ageing at the extremities, and a 5mm tiny tear at the opening edge. There's limited edge wear and the spine is pretty much fully intact. Overall the cover retains excellent rigidity.
Inner (Ex) No ageing and no splits.
