Description

An original 1st press on the UK Decca label from late 1970. Matrix 1W/1W = very 1st cut. Worth insisting on an early copy of this famous live LP as pressing quality deteriorated somewhat on later copies. The early copies are pressed heavier and they were housed in a fully laminated cover [back and front]. Also included, here, is the original blue and white Decca inner sleeve dated to 07/70 July 1970 a couple of months prior to 1st release. So, 100% genuine and 100% complete.
Vinyl (Ex-) In very nice condition and has seen light to moderate use. There are a good few light marks each side -a couple of patches of superficial scuffing, but nothing heavy or feelable that is troublesome. A thorough testing from beginning to end reveals a mostly NEAREXCELLENT level of playback with a couple of deviations. Intros and inbetweens are nice and quiet and the audio comes across with great clarity. Not quite clean enough to hit the top grades, but a decent level that should be more than sufficient for most folks. Expect a touch of light static in a couple of spots per side [e.g. the fussy track -> Love In Vain]. I also picked a couple of minor ticks in 'Little Queenie'. Overall a very enjoyable rendition of this Stones classic...
Cover (Ex) In really nice condition with just a couple of minor creases evident. The rear is looking good too and has escaped much of the usual ageing process. There's limited edge wear and the openings are still sharp. The spine is 100% intact. Overall the cover retains excellent rigidity.
Inner (Ex-) Lightest ageing and no splits.
