Description

An original 1st press of WHO'S NEXT on UK Track from 1971. Matrix A2/B1 - 1st cut. Etching "MG12888" - indicative of 1st issue. Make sure you're getting a 1st - the labels should be matt and flat [i.e. not ridged]. The vinyl comes housed in an original MacNeill cover with pinched spine. We also have the original plastic bag warning inner. So, 100% genuine and 100% complete.
Vinyl (Ex/Ex-) In great condition and has only seen relatively light use. Under close inspection I can only make out a couple of light marks per side, and one slight scuffing patch on side 2 - nothing heavy or particularly worrisome. A thorough testing from beginning to end reveals a mostly EXCELLENT level of playback with just slight deviation in the odd spot [deets below]. Intros and inbetweens are nice and the audio comes across with great clarity. Even those fussy slow build play pretty clean. I'm getting just a few crackles in a couple of brief spots per side [e.g. 'Getting In Tune'. Nothing persistent or upfront. Overall - a very accomplished rendition and there's little to take issue with.
Cover (Vg+) In very decent condition with just a couple of age spots in the top left on the front. The rear exhibits a bit of the usual surface wear - nothing particularly noticeable. Expect a bit of edge wear as is common on this original title - but nothing epic. All text legible on the spine, but expect a touch of wear [much better than typically find]. Overall the cover still retains excellent rigidity.
Inner (Vg+) A little aged. bag present. No splits.
